Admission Procedure

Use these 6 steps to become an International Student at Mykolas Romeris University:

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED:

  • Fill out the Online Application Form;
  • Upload a copy of document proving results of the English language proficiency or pass English Language Level Test at the University (you will get further information about the test upon registration on the online application platform). Citizens of foreign states willing to study the programmes in English, must have the following English proficiency level:
    • for bachelor studies – at least level B1; assessments of English language proficiency certificates equivalent to level B1: TOEFL Paper 477-510, TOEFL IBT 53-64, IELTS 4.5-5.0, PTE level 3;
    • for master studies – at least level B2, assessments of English language proficiency certificates equivalent to level B2: TOEFL Paper 513-547, TOEFL IBT 65-78, IELTS 5.5-6.0;
  • Undergraduate students must upload scanned original secondary education or high education diploma (additional educational documents might be required according to applicant's country of residence. Additional documents must be submitted to University only);
  • Graduate students must upload scanned originals of university transcript and diploma. A candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent first university degree with a minimum 3-year study duration;
  • Upload passport style photo;
  • Upload a copy of your passport or ID card;
  • Upload a bank transfer confirmation of Application Fee of 100 EUR addressed to Mykolas Romeris University (non-refundable). Payment details and electronic invoice will be sent to you upon the registration on the online application platform.

NOTE:

  • All documents must be translated in to the Lithuanian or the English language;
  • Translated copies of original documents cannot be admitted without Apostille or Consular Legalisation;
  • Application documents must be sent by Online Admission platform apply.mruni.eu;
  • In order to complete academic recognition procedure applicants might be asked to take an online University Entrance Examination;
  • Accepted students shall present their original educational documents to the International Office upon arrival to studies;
  • After successfully submitting of all necessary documents on-line your educational documents will be processed for the academic verification. Final admission results will be announced within 30 working days after the deadline;
  • Successful applicants will receive the acceptance letters;
  • By submitting the documents applicant agrees for one’s information to be shared with other institutions that the University might refer to while processing the academic verification;

APPLICATION DEADLINE

Mykolas Romeris University has one (autumn) intake per academic year so next admission will be for studies commencing from September 1st, 2021.

Application portal will open up from 1st of January 2021.

REGISTRATION OF FOREIGN CITIZENS TO STUDIES

After the international student is accepted to the University and signs the Study Agreement, the International Admissions Office transfers the file of Accepted International Student to the International Office for further pre-arrival preparations such as entrance visa documentation, on-campus accommodation booking, registration of arrival and follow-up non-academic advisory and support services during entire period of studies at the University.   

International students are strongly advised to arrive one week before beginning of studies in order to participate in Introductory Events, organized by the University;

Before arrival all international students shall inform in advance the International Office (student.support@mruni.eu) about arrival date, time and place.

Upon arrival all international students shall present themselves to the International Student Support Manager of  the International Office at Room No. I-322, Ateities st. 20, Vilnius.

In case of failure to arrive until the above-referred time limit, all the documents issued by the University to get a Lithuanian National (D-type) multiple visa or obtain a permission for temporary residence in the Republic of Lithuania shall lose their effect.

Admitted students shall be responsible and take care of all travel documents on their own: passport, insurance and traveling expenses which are excluded from the Tuition Fee.

Students from countries with visa requirements should be aware of the time required to obtain a visa. Information can be obtained from Lithuanian Consular Offices.
