    September 22nd, 2022, International Association of Universities (IAU) President Prof. Dr. Pam Fredman was awarded an honorary Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) doctorate during a ceremony on campus.     Supreme Ct. Justice and Law School Assc. Prof. Vasarienė Elected ENCJ President

    June 1st-3rd, 2022, Supreme Court of Lithuania Judge and MRU Law School Assoc. Prof. Dalia Vasarienė was elected President of the European Network of Councils for Judiciary (ENCJ) during a General Assembly meeting in Athens.
    She will begin her duties Dec. 1st replacing current President Filippo Donati from Italy. This is the first time that a member of Lithuania‘s judiciary has been elected to head the European Network of Councils for Judiciary since the establishment of ENCJ.

    MRU Doctoral Student Defended Dissertation on Corporate Income Taxation

    April 1st, 2022,  doctoral law student Ingrida Steponavičienė  successfully defended her PhD dissertation: "Anti-Avoidance Rules Applicable for Corporate Income Taxation of Company Groups and Their Holding Companies in Lithuania vs. the Principle of Legal Certainty: Challenges of Systematic Regulation.“  Her research supervisor was MRU Law Prof. Dr. Virginijus Bitė.

    MRU's Volunteer Club & MRUSA Organized Meeting with Ukrainian Mothers & Kids

    Thursday, March 31st, 2022, Mykolas Romeris University's (MRU) Volunteer Club and the Student Body Representative Organization MRUSA organized a meeting with Ukrainian children and some of their mothers. There were about 40 children that participated in the meeting. The children became acquainted with volunteer students from MRU, VU, Vilnius Tech and VDU. They played sports games and others together with their mothers drew pictures. At the end refreshments and cookies were served.

    Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) staff, who have worked at the University for at least 10 months during the last 2 years, can study for free in Bachelor's and Master's Degree porogrammes. The tuition for doctoral studies can be reduced by half for those studying towards a PhD.
