MRU Rector Signed Memorandum with Tashkent State University of Law
Dec. 7th, 2020, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Rector Prof. Inga Žalėnienė signed a virtual cooperation memorandum with Tashkent State University of Law Rector Prof. Rahim Hakimov. Both universities agreed to cooperate fostering student and lecturers exchanges and to conduct joint research.

MRU Signed Agreement with Ministry to Provide Free Tuition to Refugees
October 1st, 2020, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Rector Prof. Dr. Inga Žalėnienė signed an agreement with Lithuania's Social Security and Labour Minister Linas Kukuraitis to allow selected refugees to study for free. Foreigners who have been granted asylum in Lithuania receive free Lithuanian language lessons, learn about the Constitution, but free higher education has been off limits except to the very few.

Sept. 3rd, 2020, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Rector Prof. Inga Žalėnienė and Vilnius Builders Training Centre Acting Director Daina Kiršauskienė signed a cooperation agreement and discussed future plans and perspectives. MRU Vice-Rector Assoc. Prof. Saulius Spurga also participated in the meeting.

Cooperation Agreement Signed with World Assn for Medical Law
June 3rd, 2019, MRU Rector Prof. Inga Žalėnienė met with the Secretary-General of the World Assn for Medical Law (WAML) Ken J. Berger and WAML Exec. Vice-President, EduCom Chairman Prof. Dr. Vugar Mammadov. A Framework Cooperation Agreement between MRU and the WAML was signed. It allows for mobility of students for study abroad and research internships, as well as mobility of MRU Faculty members and WAML Board members for academic visits. In addition, both sides agreed to cooperate on joint research, conferences and applications for funding and meetings for research.

Prof. Algirdas Monkevičius signed a cooperation agreement with South Korea's Chonbuk National University Vice-President for International Cooperation Prof. Yoon Myeongsook. Both sides discussed student exchanges, joint research projects, summer schools and scholarships for the best MRU students studying Korean language at the King Sejong Institute (KSI) Vilnius.
